Vice President M. Venkaih Naidu has said that India has the capability to become the wellness capital of the world. He said India is home to centuries old traditional system of medicine and wellness practice that not only foster physical health but also mental and spiritual well being. Inaugurating the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Vaidyaratnam PS Varier at Kottakkal in Kerala today, Mr Naidu said that&nbsp;<span style="color: #222222;">Vaidyratnam was an ardent follower of Indian traditions and was not satisfied by merely dwelling on past glories and set his vision on the future. <br />''<br />''Vice President said, Varier successfully incorporated the principle and methods of modern knowledge into the traditional science of Ayurveda. This was done without compromising on the basic essentialities of Ayurveda, he said. The Vice President stressed the importance of the use of mother tongue in initial learning. He also said that we should not impose any language forcefully and should not show opposition to any other language.</span><br />
