<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav on Thursday said that India has always been a solution provider on the issue of climate change. Replying to the discussion on climate change in the Lok Sabha, Mr Yadav said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, was among the few countries in the world that not only set Nationally Determined Contributions, NDC  in 2015 but achieved them before time, setting an example for others. Underlining that the Prime Minister has often talked about climate justice along with climate change, Mr. Yadav said the developed nations who are responsible for carbon emissions must take responsibility. He said the developed countries have acknowledged this earlier and also took a vow of  100 billion US dollar to be given to developing countries.<br />''<br />''The Minister asserted that if the issue of climate change is dealt with by the developed and developing nations together then developed nations should provide climate finance and technology transfer. Mr. Yadav said that during the COP26 meet in Glasgow, the Prime Minister talked about various aspects of India's fight against climate change including the country's vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2070. He also informed the House that the carbon emission of developed countries, that account for a population of 17 per cent in the world, is 60 percent, while India's population is 17 per cent and its carbon emission is four percent. He said, India's lifestyle can teach the world how to live in harmony with the environment. Several members including Rajiv Pratap Rudy and  Jayant Sinha and Gaurav Gogoi of Congress,  BSP MP Malook Nagar participated in the discussion.</span>
