Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said India has achieved new heights since its independence and it is sure that the country will emerge as a powerful nation in the world by 2022. Addressing BJP Parliamentary party meeting this morning, Mr. Modi asked the MPs to take pledge to extend the benefits of the growth to the last man. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar said, the Prime Minister also talked about the 70 years of Independence and said a week -long celebration will begin from 9th of August to mark the occasion. He informed that Mr. Modi also said that from 15th August to 30th August, a nationwide sankalp yatra will be conducted pledging development of nation and every individual. <br/><br/>
