Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said that India is growing as one of the fastest economy in the world, because Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes all the stakeholders together irrespective of their political ideologies.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Addressing an event &quot;Bharat @100 Paving the way for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth&quot; in New Delhi, Mr Shah said that India can only be developed when the&nbsp; growth&nbsp; is taking place in the every nook and corner of the country.&nbsp;<br />''&nbsp;<br />''He said in 2011 India was the 11th largest economy but in the last 8 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has reached the 5th largest economy in the world.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Expressing confidence that India can become the 5 trillion dollars economy by 2025, Mr Shah said due to the strong policies of implementation and infrastructure development, India will achieve the target of 5 trillion dollars by 2025.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The Union Minister said in 2014, India contributed 2.60 percent of the global GDP; as of March 2023, that contribution has increased to 3.40 percent, which is a significant achievement for the government.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The Minister said government is working to bring down logistics cost to GDP to 7.5 per cent. He informed that the logistics cost in India is 13 per cent to the GDP as compared eight per cent in the rest of the world, making it difficult for Indian exports to compete globally.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Mr Shah said the Narendra Modi government has made a plan of 100 lakh crore rupees investment in infrastructure projects.<br />''Citing other achievements in the infrastructure sector through major schemes, Shah said the government has set a target to bring down logistics costs below the national average by 2028 to make exports globally competitive.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The minister expressed confidence that the Modi government has laid a strong foundation for making India a developed nation by 2047 and a 5 trillion dollar economy by 2022.</span>
