India's P.V Sindhu and Parupalli Kashyap stormed into the semi finals of the singles events of the International India Grand Prix Gold Badminton Championship in Lucknow today. In the women's singles quarterfinal, Sindhu defeated her Indonesian rival Febby Angguni. The Number Two seed will take on Sapsiree Taerattanachai of Thailand in the semi finals on Saturday.In the Men's Singles, P. Kashyap advanced after defeating Goh Soon Huat of Malaysia in three games 23-21, 8-21 and 21-16. In the semi-finals, Kashyap will face Indonesian Tommy Sugiarto on Saturday. Three other Indian Men's singles players bowed out of the competition today. Guru Saidutt, K. Srikanth and H.S. Pranoy had to suffer defeat in quarterfinals.
