India is giving highest possible attention to the issue of Indian workers in Saudi Arabia. Minister of State for External Affairs V K Singh is in Saudi Arabia to personally look into the matter. <br/><br/>The Ministry said, due to the excellent rapport between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and and the King of Saudi Arabia King Salman, Mr. Singh has had very productive meetings. Saudi authorities have accepted concerns of the workers.<br/><br/>The authorities have conveyed that they are willing to renew resident permits and labour cards to the Indian workers without any fines or fees. <br/><br/>The Saudi government has conveyed that they will make the necessary arrangements for those workers who wish to return to India. Indian Consulate has already given the list to Saudi authorities of the workers who are willing to come back .
