India is giving a befitting reply to ceasefire violations from Pakistan, Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office Jitendra Singh said today. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Dr. Singh said, the people living in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir are giving positive feedback about the Indian defence forces' response to the ceasefire violations by the neighbouring country. <br/><br/>He said, the effective retaliatory action is also having a deterrent effect. The Minister said, the people living in the border areas said they have not seen such a befitting reply from India on incidents of cross border firing during the past years.
