External Affairs Minister Mr. S.M. Krishna has said that India is committed to work with the people of Nepal for a peaceful, democratic, stable and prosperous Nepal. Speaking on his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Mr. Krishna said India gives highest priority to its relations with Nepal. Mr. Krishna is leading a seven-member delegation to Nepal during his 3-day visit. AIR Kathmandu correspondent reports, the visit of the External Affairs Minister is to reiterate India’s commitment to Nepal’s peace process and statute drafting. Formalisation of boundary strip maps, double taxation avoidance agreement and treaties dealing with extradition and mutual legal assistance are also likely to come up for discussions.Minister of External Affairs S.M Krishna will call on Nepal President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal and hold talks on bilateral issues today.
