Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has conveyed to Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck India's full commitment and support to the country's socio-economic welfare, particularly for development of its hydropower resources.

According to an official release issued yesterday, both leaders during their meeting exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The Bhutanese King and Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck arrived in New Delhi on Monday on a five-day visit at the invitation of the President Pranab Mukherjee.
