In the ITTF 2016 India Junior and Cadet Open Table Tennis Championships at Indore on Saturday, India finished second in the medal chart with four Gold, one Silver and five Bronze medals. Taipei topped the table claiming five Gold. India won three singles gold medals through Manav Thakkar, Varuni Jaiswal and Ishhita Gupta. India also won the Junior Boys doubles gold when Ananth Devarajan and Manav Thakkar combined to outwit Taipei's Lai Chi-Chien andTai Ming-Wei 11-7, 7-11, 11-7, 8-11, 12-10.
