India has expressed its readiness to evacuate Indian citizens from conflict-ridden Sudan but has emphasized that the process is contingent upon the situation on the ground. Briefing the media in New Delhi this evening, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi noted that the situation in Sudan is highly tense at present. He also extended his condolences to the lives of over 78 people, in Yemen following the stampede and expressed the hope that the war in the country would come to an end soon.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Replying to a query on the Indian Embassy in Sudan being attacked, Mr Bagchi said that war is very intense in the area where the embassy is situated, however, the attack cannot be confirmed. He also informed that the embassy officials are also working from different locations.
