India exists in every Indian: PM Modi tells Malaysian Indians

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today touched hearts of Malaysian Indians greeting them in their own language and paying tribute to their forefathers, who fought for India's freedom under the leadership of both Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Mahatma Gandhi. <br/><br/>Addressing a gathering of 1500 at the Malaysia International Chamber of Commerce, MICC in Kuala Lumpur, Mr Modi started his speech in Tamil, sensing that majority of Indians present at the convention centre belonged to Tamil Nadu. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister said, India exists in every Indian. Paying tributes to Malay Indians who fought for the India's freedom under the banner of INA, he announced that India will name its cultural centre after Netaji. Amid thunderous applause from the Indian diaspora, which is second largest in the world after the US, Mr Modi also announced that India will install a bust of Mahatma Gandhi soon, to be built at Gandhi Memorial hall.<br/><br/>Earlier today the Prime Minister unveiled a statue of Swami Vivekananda at Ramakrishna Mission at Petaling Jaya, during his ongoing visit to Malaysia. <br/><br/>Addressing a function on the occasion at the Mission, Mr Modi said Swami Vivekananda was not a name of a person or identity as he represented soul of India's thousands of years of ancient culture.
