India and Europe have decided to strengthen cooperation in the field of culture. They have agreed to set up a dialogue process in this field that will help to protect and promote the diversity of cultural expressions. This will consist of regular exchanges of best practices, chievements, promotion of knowledge building and sharing in relations to commonly identified issues. In a joint declaration on culture adopted in the Belgian capital Brussels today, both sides agreed to organise promotional events to be held annually. Both sides will exploit the potential for cooperation between both regions through the development of new activities.
