Prime Minister Narendra Modi last night met top European Union leaders at Brussels in the 13th EU-India Summit. The summit laid out concrete priority actions for the strategic partnership in areas like trade and investment, climate, energy, water and migration in the next five years.<br/>Talking to news persons in Brussels, MEA Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said that issues related to multilateral and regional interests were discussed during the meeting.<br/><br/>In the summit, enhanced cooperation on counter-terrorism, research and innovation, the digital market and human rights were also discussed. He said, issues related to development of Afghanistan were also discussed at the summit. <br/>The Summit was followed by a working dinner which was attended by European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker.<br/>The EU-India strategic partnership was launched in 2004. The last summit was held in Delhi in 2012.
