Ambassador of the European Commission to India Daniele Smadja has advocated more effective strategic partnership between the European Union and India for economic development, political stability and social justice in the world order. Calling India the voice of the developing world Mrs. Smadja said that India and the EU share crucial commonalities of being a new global force and intensifying effective multi lateral system which is bound to converge in future.Daniele Smadja said India has made its presence adequately visible by contributing more towards UN efforts of coordinated governance and raising concerns of the less developed community in G-20. She said that EU is very relevant as trade and economic partner to India and both need to work together for effective multilateralism.
