In Football, defending champions India qualified for the semifinals of the SAFF Women's Championship 2022 with a massive 9-0 win over the Maldives in their second match of the tournament at the Dasarath Rangasala Stadium in Kathmandu yesterday.
 
Anju Tamang was the star of the show, netting four goals, as Dangmei Grace scored two.

After this win, India now have six points from two matches. Five-time champions India will next face Bangladesh in their their last group stage match on Tuesday.
