On the fifth and final day of their first test at Nottingham India were 347 for 8 in their second innings against England at tea. Bhubaneswar Kumar at 31 and Ishan Sharma at 5 were at the crease. India were leading by 308 runs with two wickets remaining. Earlier, England scored 496 in their first innings in reply to India's 457.
