India-England 1st cricket Test: Bad light stops play

Bad light has stopped play in the first cricket Test between India and England at the historic Lord's Stadium in London. Earlier, rains delayed the start of the match. England were 127 for 2 when the umpires decided to have tea break due to bad light. Zaheer Khan took the wickets of Captain Andrew Strauss who scored 22 and also trapped Alastair Cook lbw for 12. India won the toss but elected to field. The current test at the Lord's marks the 2000th Cricket Test and is also the 100th between the two countries. Sachin Tendulkar is seeking his 100th International century in the home of Cricket. Messages are pouring in to wish Tendulkar luck to accomplish the feat.
