Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has said that India has emerged as the defence exporting nation . He was addressing a press conference after inaugurating the ninth Defence Expo in South Goa today.<br/> <br/>Replying to a question about India's capability to rise as an exporting nation the Minister said that the country has already exported about Rs 2,000 crore worth of defence related products and as the government has declassified two third of export prohibited list and turned them into general category actually export have risen to about Rs 4,000 crores as of now. <br/><br/>Speaking about defence exports of importance, Mr Parrikar enumerated Tejas Light combat aircraft and Dhanush artillery gun and Aakash as the immediately possible items of export.<br/><br/>Replying a question on Pathankot terrorist attack being probed by a Pakistan government's Joint investigation team, the Minister clarified that the actual place of crime, which is a non sensitive area , has already been isolated, completely out of vision behind barricades and has been handed over to NIA and it is their prerogative to allow anybody in that area. He categorically asserted that the Miniistry will not permit entry into airway and alllow interviewing of defence personnel.
