He said till now the locks made in Aligarh used to safeguard houses but now the products manufactured in in Aligarh defence corridor will safeguard the boundaries of country.<br />''<br />''Reiterating that the Central government and the Yogi government at Uttar Pradesh are working together for the development of the state, the Prime Minister said that we have to fight forces that are against development in the state.<br />''<br />''He also pointed out that today, Uttar Pradesh is becoming an attractive destination for every small and big investor of the country and the world. He will also inaugurate the Aligarh node of the defence corridor.<br />''<br />''Before the inauguration, Prime Minister inspected the exhibition models of upcoming Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University and Defence Corridor.<br />''<br />''The university will be established by State government in a total area of over 92.27 acres at village Lodha and village Musepur Kareem Jarouli of Aligarh's Kol tehsil. The State government has approved Rupees 101.41 crores for the construction work in first phase of university.&nbsp; This upcoming university will have skill development and other vocational courses and about 395 colleges connected with Aligarh Hathras, Kasganj, Etah and nearby areas will be benefitted.<br />''<br />''A total area of 200 acres has been acquired for the Aligarh defence corridor project. Initially this project will host 19 industrial units with a total investment outlay of rupees around 1245 crore. In Aligarh corridor Small arms, armaments, drones, aerospace metal components, Anti-drone systems, defense packaging and other industries are proposed.<br />''<br />''The defence corridor was announced by the prime minister to Uttar Pradesh in 2018. The corridor connects Aligarh, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Jhansi and Chitrakoot projects.<br />''<br />''The Defense Industrial Corridor of Uttar Pradesh will help in making the country self-reliant in the field of defense production and promoting 'Make in India'.<br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said union and state governments have set an example in containing the Covid 19 in country and in the world. He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 75 crore vaccines have been administered in country.<br />''<br />''Mr Yogi said that the government has provided every possible help to people during Covid Pandemic period.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Chief Minister has said that both these projects in Aligarh will become the development axis for Aligarh and adjoining areas.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He said that defence corridor will provide more than 50,000 jobs in state.
