India doing much more for climate with target of reduction of 35% of emissions: Prakash Javadekar

<span style="color: #222222;">Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that India is doing much more for climate with target of reduction of 35 per cent of emissions.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking at the CII Partnership Summit virtually this evening, Mr Javadekar said, India brought down 2005 levels by 21 per cent before onset of Paris Agreement.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, India is achieving and going beyond targets with 450 Giga Watt Renewable Energy target.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister said, India is the only country in G20 to meet its commitments.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, despite constraints, India has 8 per cent of world's biodiversity due to its cultural ethos and it has performed its goals.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Javadekar said, fresh climate ambitions by countries without delivering on promised commitments, is a flawed approach.</span><br />''
