India has dismissed contentions made by Islamabad about the killing of two Pakistani Rangers in the BSF firing on the International Border in the Jammu sector. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj asked Islamabad to adhere to mechanisms that have been evolved to ensure peace and tranquility on the International Border and Line of Control. She emphasized that India always adhered to these mechanisms and will continue to do so.
According to official sources in the External Affairs Ministry, Mrs. Swaraj wrote this in reply to the letter of Sartaj Aziz, Pakistan Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs.
