India and Denmark have signed a bilateral security agreement aimed at protecting their workers. Under the agreement, the employed or self employed persons in either country will not have to make doube payments of social security contributions as it will be subject only to law of the host country. <br/><br/>The agreement also provides for portability of the benefits of the time of relocation to home country or the third country. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent says the agreement will indirectly help increase trade and investment between the two countries because of reduction of corporate expense on social security. The agreement will also ensure social protection of migrant professionals. There are nearly 13 thousand Indians working in Denmark who will be benefitted.
