In the ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup warm-up match, India defeated Sri Lanka by 7 wickets at the LC de Villiers Oval, Pretoria in South Africa yesterday.

Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 208 runs with the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Dinura Kalupahana scored 67 runs for Sri Lanka while Musheer Khan scalped 3 wickets for India. India successfully chased down the target of 209 runs in 41.2 overs. Uday Saharan scored 50 runs and Musheer Khan scored 51 runs for the Men in Blue. Earlier Sri Lanka Under 19 won the toss and opted to bat first.

The ICC Under 19 World Cup 2024 will begin tomorrow in South Africa.
