In Hockey, India defeated hosts South Africa 7-4 in a Group-A match of the Champions Challenge in Johannesburg yesterday. India's Sandeep Singh and SV Sunil scored two goals apiece, while Saravanjit Singh, Tushar Khandekar and Rupinder Pal Singh netted one goal each.India now have 4 points from 2 matches and are at the top of Pool-A, alongside Belgium, who earlier drew with India in the first match. Belgium yesterday defeated Poland 7-3.India will next face Poland in a Group-A match tomorrow.
