India defeated Ireland by 125 runs in their third group A match of the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier-2017 in Colombo today. This is India's third consecutive victory in the on-going tournament. In reply to India's score of 250 for 2 in the stipulated 50 overs, Ireland eves were all out for 125 in 49.1 overs. For India, MDT Kamini scored unbeaten 113 followed by 89 of D.B.Sharma. Poonam Yadav claimed 3 Ireland wickets, while S.Pandey, E.Bisht and D.P.Vaidya took two wickets each. Today's victory made India the first to ensure a berth in the Super Six stage of the competition. All teams making the Super Six stage will be assured of ODI status for the next four-year cycle.
