India, Czech Republic sign three agreements including social security of Indians in Europe

India signed three agreements with Czech Republic including one on social security that will protect the interests of around 700 Indians working in the European nation. Two other agreements were signed by the two countries – on Economic Cooperation and one on a Protocol on Amendment of the Agreement between India and Czech Republic for the Promotion and Protection of Investments signed on October 11, 1996. The agreements were signed on the third day of the Vice President, Mr. Mohammad Hamid Ansari's visit to the country.Earlier, speaking at the working lunch hosted by Czech Prime Minister Jan Fischer, Vice-President said the two countries' economic engagement has intensified to the mutual benefit of the people.The Vice President is leaving for the Croatian capital Zagreb this morning for the second leg of the six-day two-nation tour after successful completion of the visit to the Czech Republic. Some important agreements would also be signed following the official level delegation.
