India, Cyprus agree to conduct rodshows

India and Cyprus have agreed to conduct road shows and proposed setting up of direct air link between the two countries to promote tourism. Welcoming Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister of Cyprus Antonis Paschalldes, Tourism Minister Selja said that both countries can actively cooperate in the field of Hospitality, Tourism Education and Human Resource Development. The visiting Minister said that India can gain from Sports, Wellness, Religious and Beach Tourism of Cyprus. He also added that apart from tourism, India is a future strategic partner in key areas including energy and IT sector.
