India crucial security partner of US: Gary Locke

US trade Secretary, Gary Locke, said that India has become a crucial security partner of US and he sees a mutually beneficial relationship with India. Addressing the keynote address on the concluding day of NASSCOM India Leadership Summit held in Mumbai yesterday, Locke said Indian IT industry has become a key force. He added that the country has come up faster than any other economy.National Association of Software and Service Companies, NASSCOM forum is one of the flagship events for the tech industry in India where business leaders from more than 20 countries participate to share their views and strategies, and discuss the opportunities and challenges that lay ahead in the technology sector.The three day forum was inaugurated by the hands of Communication, HRD and IT minister Kapil Sibal on February 8.The summit witnessed discussions with the industry body with various trade delegations from several countries.
