In Qingdao, China, Chinese Taipei defeated Thailand 3-2 in the last Group-C tie of the mixed team competition yesterday, helping India to qualify to the knock-out stage. Earlier, India had lost their opener against Chinese Taipei 2-3, but had bounced back in the second Group-C match, beating Thailand 3-2. India will play their knock-out match on Thursday.
