Indian challenge in the Japan Open Super Series Badminton ended after lone survivor P Kashyap crashed out of the tournament suffering a straight-game defeat against world number three Peter Hoeg Gade in Tokyo today. Kashyap ran out of steam against third seed Gade and went down 10-21 10-21 in just 31 minutes in the men's singles pre-quarterfinal. The result draws curtain on Indian campaign as ace Saina Nehwal, Jwala Gutta and V Diju crashed out of the tournament yesterday after suffering contrasting defeats in the first round.
