India has expressed its serious concern to the United States over the misuse of its arms assistance to Pakistan. Defence Minister A.K. Antony today conveyed this to the US Secretary of Defence Robert Gates in Washington.Mr. Antony said that while the US is giving these arms to Pakistan to fight terror, Islamabad is diverting it against India. Mr. Antony, who arrived in Washington on Sunday, also held meetings with the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and National Security Advisor Gen. James Jones. Pakistan's continuing support to India-centric terrorist groups, Afghan-Pak situation and other regional and global security issues came up during the discussions.While expressing concern over the delay and denial of export licenses for defence public sector undertakings in India, Mr. Antony asked the United States to remove India from the list of prohibited entity.
