<span style="color: #222222;">Ministry of Health has said that India continues to have one of the lowest cases of COVID-19 per million population globally. In a tweet the Ministry said that some States and Union Territories are performing better and reporting even lower cases per million population than the national average. <br />''<br />''It said, this is the result of a sustained slump in addition of new cases and  less than 50 thousand cases added per day in the last 8 days  and consistently increasing number of recoveries which is more than 82 lakh  following the Centre led targetted public health response measures against  COVID-19.</span><br />
