India continues to dominate in Chess Olympiad

India continued to dominate the 39th Chess Olympiad with fine victories at Khanty Mansiysk, Russia. The men's team defeated International Committee of Silent Chess (ICSC) with a score of three and a half points to half a point. The women's team beat Indonesia by an identical margin.Yesterday, India's top-rated, Krishnan Sasikiran was the only player to drop a half point on the top board when he was held to a draw by Yehuda Gruenfeld while the remaining three Indians won easily to take their match point aggregate to four from the first two rounds.
