India continued its dominance in ice-skating events of the SAF winter games on the third day in a row by winning all the medals in speed skating events in both men's and women's categories at Dehradun on Wednesday. All the three top positions in the men's 1000 metre and 1500 metre long speed ice skating events were bagged by Indians. Subodh Patil won Gold in 1000m speed skating in men's category, while Mushtaq Ahmed and Lavish Vaidya bagged the Silver and Bronze respectively. In the 1500m speed ice skating, Patil yet again finished on top, with Harshit Bhosle claiming the Silver and Mushtaq Ahmed winning the Bronze.Similarly, in women's 500m category also India won all three medals with Shruti Kotwal bagging the Gold, Sonam Tismo Silver and Rinchim Dolma Bronze. The second part of SAF winter games comprising of skiing events will be held at Auli in Chamoli district from tomorrow to Sunday.
