India has congratulated Morocco on its return to the African Union with an overwhelming majority. External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup in a statement said, India wholeheartedly welcomes Morocco's return to the Union which has strengthened Africa's Unity. He said, both the countries have a historic relationship and this has grown into a sustainable partnership.
