India condemns Lahore attack; death toll rises to 50

India today strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on Data Darbar in Lahore. Responding to a question an external affairs ministry spokesman also expressed sympathies to the families of the bereaved. 42 people lost their lives in two separate sue side attacks in Lahore.Meanwhile, In Pakistan, the death toll has climbed to 50 in last night bomb attack in one of the holiest shines. More than 200 were injured after a pair of suicide bombers detonated their explosives vests at the Data Darbar shrine complex.Lahore Commissioner Khusro Pervez said the remains of the bombers – a man in his 20s and another in his late teens – were recovered after the blasts. Pakistan's Taliban has denied it was involved in the bombing.A spokesman for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Azam Tariq condemning the attack said this was a conspiracy by foreign secret agencies and they do not attack public places.
