India concede 2-0 lead to Russia in 1st round of Davis Cup World Group tie

In the Davis Cup World Group, India conceded a 2-0 lead to Russia on the opening day of the first round tie following contrasting defeats of Somdev Devvarman and Rohan Bopanna in Moscow yesterday. Russian Igor Kunitsyn overcame Somdev Devvarman, while Mikhaile Youzhny beat Rohan Bopanna in the first round matches of the Davis Cup. In the doubles match, Leander Paes and Mahesh Bupathi will take on Kunitsyn and Teimuraz Gabashvili today. The reverse singles will be played tomorrow.
