Russian Igor Kunitsyn overcame Somdev Devvarman, while Mikhaile Youzhny beat Rohan Bopanna in the first round matches of the Davis Cup. In the doubles match, Leander Paes and Mahesh Bupathi will take on Kunitsyn and Teimuraz Gabashvili today. The reverse singles will be played tomorrow.
