India committed to domestic action and multilateral cooperation on climate change, says Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav

<span style="color: #222222;">Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav participated in a session on"Accelerating Resilient Infrastructure in Small Island Developing States (SIDS)" at COP 27  summit at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.  Speaking at the session, Mr Yadav said India is committed to both domestic action and multilateral cooperation on climate change.<br />''<br />''He said, India  will continue to fight all global environmental concerns in the call to protect humanity's planetary home. He said, the  Government of India stands firmly committed to safeguarding the interests of SIDS in a changing climatic regime. He mentioned that considering per capita emissions, for an objective scale for comparison, India's emissions are, even today, about one-third of the global average. </span><br />
