India clinched the third South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Women's Championship in Islamabad yesterday. It was 3 out of 3 for the Indian eves, as they have won the Championship all the three times, with Nepal being the other finalists. In this year's final yesterday, they won 6-0 to register their first series win on Pakistan soil. Ngangom Bala Devi was the star of the show yet again. She scored 4 goals to take her overall tally to 16, the highest scored in a single edition of the championship. Kamala and Prameshwori Devi were the other goal scorers.
