India clinch thriller against Sri Lanka in Rajkot One Dayer

India has registered a thrilling victory against Sri Lanka by three runs in the first onedayer at Madhavrao stadium in Rajkot. Virendra Sehwag declared Man of the Match. Chasing a massive target of 415 Sri Lanka's Opners Tilakratne Dilshan and Upul Tharanga gives solid start for their team but they failed to cross Indian total. Sri Lanka's team scored 411 for eight in 50 overs.Earlier, Winning the toss Sri Lankan captian Kumar Sangkara choose to field first. India put up the highest ODI total in home soil of 414 runs with Virender Sehwag's blistering 146 runs. Sachin Tendulkar and M.S. Dhoni also scored half centuries each. With this win, India have taken 1-0 lead in the five match series.
