India thrashed Sri Lanka by nine wickets in the deciding third and final Twenty20 International to pocket the series 2-1 at Visakhapatnam last night.Chasing a paltry target of 83 runs, India made 84 runs for the loss of one wicket in 13.5 overs. Shikhar Dhawan 46 and Ajinkya Rahane 22 remained not out. Rohit sharma out for 13 runs. Earlier Electing to bowl, India bundled out the visitors for 82 runs in 18 overs in the series deciding encounter.For India, Ravichandran Ashwin claimed four wickets for eight runs.Besides Ashwin, Suresh Raina also shone with the ball by scalping two batsmen and giving away just six runs in his two overs.Ashwin was declared Man of the Match and Man of the series.The series win also helped India retain its numero uno position in the ICC T20 rankings.
