India, China should understand each other's sensitivity: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said both India and China should understand each other's sensitivity.

Talking to a group of Chinese journalists in New Delhi yesterday, he said, both countries should follow the principle of mutual and equal security to realise the full potential of the ties.

Mr. Modi said, he was looking forward for closer developmental partnership with the neighbouring country, but at the same time was seeking progress on issues of concern because their resolution will transform the atmosphere in the relations.

Seeking greater engagement in diverse areas between the two countries, Mr. Modi said, China is important for the future of this region and the world.
The Prime Minister said, India and China are bound by history and culture and together they can create a bright future for the entire mankind.

He summarized the possibilities of the bilateral ties moving ahead as Inch (India and China) towards Miles (Millennium of Exceptional Synergy).
