India and China reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the agreements and protocols signed by both the countries to maintain peace and tranquility along the borders. This decision was taken in Border Personnel Meeting held at Chinese Hut in Damai today. A release issued by Defence PRO Sunit Newton in Guwahati said that the Border Personnel Meeting mechanism in Kibithu – Damai Sector was a positive step towards enhancing interaction between the border guarding troops of the area.
