New Delhi says, India and China are in touch with each other to resolve the issue arising out of incursion by Chinese troops in Daulat Beg Oldi Sector of eastern Ladakh.

According to sources in the Ministry of External Affairs, there have been differing perceptions of the Line of Actual Control in this area and incidents do occur and are resolved peacefully through bilateral agreements.

The sources said both sides are in touch on this issue, availing the working mechanism for consultation and coordination on India- China Border affairs. They expressed confidence that the current incident will be peacefully resolved.
