India- China freindship progressing, India Prez visit to deepen cooperation

The President Mrs Pratibha Devi Singh Patil said India and China friendship is progressing and her visit will deepen and expand the areas of our cooperation and thereby cement the partnership between both the countries.<br/><br/><br/>Talking to media persons on her special flight to Beijing Mrs Patil said that during her meeting with leadership of china she will comprehensively review bilateral relations of both the countries from strategic and long term perspective. <br/><br/>She said that many dimensions of the India China partnership including trade and investment science and technology, art and culture and people to people exchange will be discussed during bilateral meetings. <br/><br/>She said that impart additional momentum to existing cooperative activities and exchanges are included in objective of her visit.<br/>Replying to a question she said that both the countries have strategic and cooperative partnership and are on a friendly path. <br/><br/>Referring trade activities between both the countries she said that India and China are working together to achieve the bilateral trade target of 60 billion US dollar in 2010. <br/><br/>She said that that she will encourage Indian businessmen to expand their presence in china and added that India is open for Chinese investment.
