India and China today discussed the possibility of working in collaborative projects in third countries. Official Xinhua news agency said, after one and half hour talks at the Foreign Ministry in Beijing,Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi accompanied by National Security Adviser Shiv Shankar Menon told the Indian media that talks went off very well and covered the whole horizon of issues.<br/><br/>Mr. Shiv Shankar Menon arrived in Beijing yesterday on a four-day visit as Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's special envoy. A significant part of the discussions between Menon and Yang reportedly centred on economic issues and the booming trade between the two countries that is expected to touch a new of high of 60 billion dollar this year.<br/> <br/>Mr.Menon said, India is ready to work with China to intensify coordination on international and regional issues, so as to advance the India-China strategic partnership of cooperation. He also spoke highly of the achievements made in bilateral ties, noting the Indian government attached great importance to developing relations with China.
