India charges Pakistan with adopting divisionary tactics

India has charged Pakistan with adopting divisionary tactics by trying to rake up Kashmir issue with the United Nations. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin today accused Islamabad of being non serious about a meaningful dialogue on the issue.

He said, it is up to Pakistan to de-escalate tension along the Line of Control resulting from ceasefire violations. Mr. Akbaruddin said, India is willing for a serious dialogue on all issues including Jammu and Kashmir under the framework of Simla Agreement and Lahore Declaration.

The spokesperson clarified that there is no place for third parties in Indo-Pak relations. He said India will not accept violence on international borders or the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
