Hindi Journalism Day was celebrated throughout the country especially in Hindi speaking states today. <br/><br/>The day coincides with the start of publication of the first Hindi Newspaper Udant Martand in 1926 from Calcutta.<br/> <br/>In Uttar Pradesh, symposia were organised by the Press Associations in the different districts in which the speakers highlighted the challenges faced by Hindi Journalism. <br/><br/>The speakers also stressed the need to keep social responsibility of Hindi Media on top agenda. Veteran Hindi journalists were also felicitated on the occasion.
