The External Affairs Ministry today said India is carefully monitoring the deteriorating security situation in Afghanistan and its implication on safety and security of Indian nationals in the country. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Briefing media today, Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, Indian Embassy in Kabul and Consulates in Kandahar and Mazar i Sharif  are functional. He said, India's responses will be calibrated accordingly depending on how the situation evolves.</span><br />
